Routes vary according to length and neighborhood. Amsterdam is set up for cycling. MacBike rents out high-tech, brightly colored bicycles, Frederic rents plain, simple black ones. Prices start at €10 a day (about $12). When you rent your bike, also rent a couple of good locks---bicycle theft is a constant problem."

Amsterdam: The Red Light Tour
"This audio tour look particulary colorful and informative about the red light district. It's just $9 and I could give you a copy as well. We could walk through the Red Light District during the day taking the audio tour. Then at night make a second journey through there.
This is where the ladies of the evening conduct their business. At night, the district is packed with tourists---and those who prey on them---but it's relatively safe as long as you mind your wallet and stick to busy, well-lighted main streets. once the site of 16 different convents and monasteries and now filled with brothels, novelty shops and theaters. Don't take any pictures of the ladies or your camera will likely be promptly tossed into a canal by a very large man."
http://walki-talki.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=31

Vondelpark - Another great place to relax and do some people watching is Vondelpark, Amsterdam’s largest and most famous park. A hippie meeting place in the 60’s and 70’s, it is now frequented by people of all sorts. Street performers, tourists, soccer players, couples and teenagers all gather here on nice days. In-line skates are available for rental at the top end of the park. This is a great way to see the entire park and get some exercise at the same time.

-Dance at the Melkweg

-Amsterdam smoke

"Stroll beside the canals of the Jordaan. Once home base for Rembrandt, this lively neighborhood is now the place to find many of Amsterdam's most interesting shops and galleries. This is also where you'll find Amsterdam's best "brown cafés,"

Check out the art scene. Spui (pronounced "spow") Square has a book market on Fridays and an art market on Sundays where local artists show their work, much of it affordably priced. But in fact, the EU neither dominates nor defines Brussels, merely forming one layer of a city that has become, in postwar years at least, a thriving, cosmopolitan metropolis. It's a vibrant and fascinating place, with architecture and museums to rank among the best of Europe's capitals, not to mention a superb restaurant scene and an energetic nightlife. Moreover, most of the key attractions are crowded into a centre that is small enough to be absorbed over a few days

http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-191501719-brussels_vacations-i;_ylt=AtxaRPqbyq.W7X72pE2k6Wv8xmoA yahoo guide

http://travel.yahoo.com/p-reviews-2772437-prod-travelguide-action-read-ratings_and_reviews-i;_ylt=AlviEHTADdWdwAxDr.i6pRmXFWoL#80

The Grote Market is truely full of small architectural details that are a joy to seek out and photograph... Good for watching people, testing the taste of the crispy pomme frites with mayonaise, and mussels in herbed wine broth nearby. But if you've come this far, and think this is beautiful, want more, and in a big way, take the train 1 hour west to the small town of Bruges/Brugge. Even though it has never ruled over a territory any larger than the present-day Land, the grandiose palaces from Bavaria's era as an independent kingdom give it the appearance of a metropolis of great importance. When this is added to a remarkable postwar economic record (courtesy of such hi-tech giants as the car manufacturer BMW, the aerospace company MBB and the electronics group Siemens), and to its hard-won status as the national trendsetter in fashion matters,

http://travel.yahoo.com/p-travelguide-191501749-munich_vacations-i;_ylt=Aqu.I53pH0gjXWUZd33lqaj8xmoA Yahoo

Stuttgart, Germany

The writer Eduard Mörike had a soft spot for Stuttgart and waxed lyrical in 1853 in his book "Stuttgarter Hutzelmännlein" about beautiful old houses and their oriels, "which stand on corners serenely as towers".
